Entrance 20p per exhibit. Only 2 exhibits per class per exhibitor.
All exhibits must be grown by the exhibitor or must have been in the possession of the exhibitor for at least 3 months. Exhibits to be staged from 6.30pm-7.45pm.
Prize cards awarded for first, second, third and highly commended. A shield is given for the best exhibit in the show. A cup is awarded for the best single bloom in the show in classes 11-24 inclusive. The Mary Griffin salver is awarded to the exhibitor with the most points in the show. A trophy will be awarded for the best Daffodil in the show in classes 1-10 inclusive.
Trophies will remain the responsibility of the holder together with any engraving. However, the cost of engraving can be reimbursed if the receipt is given to the Treasurer.
There are a number of different sized green plastic containers for use. Your own vase, jar, bottle, container, etc may be used especially for the classes of smaller flowers. ‘Padding’ such as paper, cotton wool, moss, newspaper, etc may be used within a container to show the exhibit to its best advantage.
